It combines power-line grounding with reliable utility communications for overhead transmission networks.
Description
48 Core OPGW Optical Ground Wire
The NL-OPGW-48B1-90 integrates 48 G.652 single-mode fibers in two stainless-steel optical tubes with aluminum-clad steel load-bearing wires. Installed in the overhead ground-wire position of high-voltage transmission lines, it supports lightning protection and fault-current transmission while providing a protected optical channel for utility communications, SCADA, teleprotection and grid monitoring.
